Hello everybody!
I have the pleasure to show you the first part of my new comic! I said "new" but it's not quite right. This story's been living with me since childhood.
When I was young, I wrote it many times and I even started to draw a plate and made many sketches.
Later, I found it simple and naïve and hid it in a box.
And then one day, I found the box...and I loved rediscovering its childish side. I decided then to finish the story.
During the creation, I made sure of keeping its childish side because I think it's important to honor the little girl I once was. The story is short (only about fifteen of plates) and I don't know yet if I'll use the heroes for another story. It depends on them. Who knows, maybe someday they'll whisper some of their adventures in my ear...Adventures that I obviously will share with you all.
I worked with watercolors on tea towel papier and I worked again with krita.
I tried to work with digital paintbrushes watercolors but I didn't like it at all.
And then...
The pleasure of watercolors, water, paintbrushes, color mixture, touching the tea towel papier, seeing how it drinks water is something I can't live without.
The first plate is different from the others. Actually, I made it way before the others and in the meantime my technique changed.
I wish you read it with as much pleasure as I had making it.
